Watch the exclusive music video premiere of “Truth” from all-star funk and soul quartet The Nth Power. “Truth” is the first single from Live To Be Free, the band’s new full-length live album due out on November 11th. The nine-track album was recorded in July over two nights of intimate live performances in Boston, MA and one night in the band’s hometown of Brooklyn, NY. The black and white video for “Truth” features a news ticker and scrolling lyrics to express the band’s mood regarding current events.

Professional drummer Nikki Glaspie of The Nth Power has teamed up with Independent Arts and Music of Asheville (IamAVL) to create an online tutorial designed to offer aspiring percussionists tips, techniques, and tricks of the trade. The instructional drum workshop, presented by Echo Mountain Recording Studios and Guitar Center, is part of a series IamAVL has developed called Skill Sets intended to help musicians perfect their craft. Nikki’s Skill Set is now available for rental and purchase on Vimeo.

Funk and soul quartet The Nth Power are proud to announce the release of their dynamic new record, To Be Free - Live, on November 11, 2016.
